English 2100: First-Year Writing

This blog is an open forum for Professor Cheryl Smith’s English 2100 class, “Introduction to Writing.” It’s a space for reflection and idea development. Students will post their thoughts on course assignments, readings, discussions, and activities. Often, posts will be in response to a question or prompt, but all class members are invited to post an opinion at any time—as long as it’s related to the class. Remember, writing is a process and through the acts of drafting, revising, and responding to others’ work, your ideas gain complexity.
